Privacy policy
This policy describes what data is processed when you visit 25bugs.com. Our apps have their own privacy policies, linked from each product page.
Note: this policy describes the technical state of this website. Please have it reviewed legally before going live, and update it as soon as analytics, advertising or booking tools are added.
1. Controller
The controller for data processing on this website is 25Bugs GmbH, Friedrich-Ebert-Ring 126, 48429 Rheine, Germany, represented by Marcel Kipp. Email: contact@25bugs.com, phone: +49 157 85793755.
2. Hosting and server log files
This website runs on Firebase Hosting, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When pages are requested, technically necessary access data is processed: IP address, date and time of access, the address requested, volume of data transferred, browser type and operating system. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the secure and stable operation of the website. A data processing agreement is in place with the provider. Any transfer to third countries takes place on the basis of the Standard Contractual Clauses.
3. No cookies, no analytics, no advertising
This website sets no cookies for analytics or advertising and embeds no tracking services. Only your language and appearance preference is stored locally in your browser (localStorage). That value never leaves your device and is not read by us.
4. Fonts
The fonts used are bundled at build time and served from our own server. No connection to Google Fonts servers is established.
5. Getting in touch
If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The contact form on this website transmits no data to us: it only opens your own email client with prepared text. Transmission happens only when you send the message yourself. We delete enquiries once they are settled and no statutory retention periods apply.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Any consent given can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. Please use the contact details above.
7. Right to complain
You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia, Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.
8. Encryption
This website is served exclusively over an encrypted HTTPS connection, shown by the padlock symbol in your browser's address bar.
